Guides › Farming Prismana without Vein Essence via catches
Is there a pity system for Prismana Aniimo?
The prismatic energy gauge works as a pity meter: once it is full, a Prismana Aniimo is guaranteed to appear.
The meter is per region, so energy built up in one region does nothing for another. Pick a region and stay in it until its bar is full, because switching starts you on a different bar.
When a region's bar fills, Prismana Flow weather starts there and that region's Prismana Aniimo spawns right away. You don't have to search for it. A vertical beam of light marks the spawn point, and a path to the creature is revealed automatically. The guarantee is still active in the live game.
The full bar is the only sure route. Gaining energy can sometimes trigger a surge that fills the meter at once, and nurturing a Bloom has a small chance of doing the same, but both are luck. Spawning early from a partly filled bar is a random chance, not a promise. A prismatic crystal or rainbow stone skips the meter entirely and forces a Prismana spawn in a zone, such as at the Breezy Plains tree.
Prismana blooms have their own guarantee
Blooms run on a separate safety net. Success rates rise through several energy tiers until a capture is guaranteed, so failed attempts at a bloom still move you toward a certain result. The nurture gauge fills in named stages, starting with Slight and then Abundant, and is full after Very High.
Not settled: The guarantee at a full bar is settled. The odds of an early surge are not: they are given as a flat base chance of about 3% per nurture attempt, catch attempt or bloom release, and as 0.6% on a Lucky Strike catch, and what exactly triggers that roll is unsettled.
