Guides › Alpha Aniimo: Finding, Fighting and Catching World Bosses

What are Aniipods used for?

Aniipods are cube-shaped, consumable devices that players throw at wild Aniimo to capture them, with higher tiers such as the Aniipod Ultra able to capture boss Aniimo.

Standard pods give an 8 to 12 percent catch rate on defeated Alpha bosses.

While regular wild creatures can be caught directly, Alpha area bosses cannot be captured mid-fight. You must defeat an Alpha in combat before an opportunity to catch it opens up. Because common pods average around 10% per attempt on these encounters, save high-tier pods for bosses rather than spending them on ordinary wild spawns.

Ultra Anipods are the highest tier available and secure a guaranteed 100% capture rate on any target, including Umbral Aniimo and defeated Alphas such as Stellarys.

Capture Costs and Restrictions

Catching an Alpha Aniimo also requires Primegy, an energy resource that regenerates over time and functions separately from your in-combat stamina bar. When your pool runs dry, Glimmer can be spent a limited number of times each day to replenish it for boss captures.

No Aniipod can catch Omega Aniimo. While Alpha encounters reward a capture attempt once defeated, Omegas cannot be caught under any circumstances.
