What are Flux Crystals used for in Aniimo?
Flux Crystals are a currency obtained from Sanctum chests and other in-game reward sources, and their use is unsettled ahead of the game's full release: they are given as evolution stones that substitute for missing elemental stones or evolution materials during resonance star-up, as a universal elemental resource that satisfies varying elemental material requirements, and as exchangeable for other items.
They stand in for missing elemental stones whenever you evolve or star-up a creature.
As a universal elemental resource, they can satisfy varying elemental material requirements. When a creature evolution or resonance star-up calls for an elemental stone or missing evolution material, Flux Crystals convert into whatever item the process requires. They also function directly as evolution stones, required for creature evolution without needing specific elemental matches.
Sanctum chests and item exchange
Flux Crystals are obtained from Sanctum chests and other in-game reward sources. In addition to their direct role in creature progression, they serve as a currency that can be exchanged for other items.
Not settled: Whether Flux Crystals serve primarily as a direct evolution stone, a universal star-up substitute, or an exchange currency is not settled yet.
