What does Budclaw evolve into?
Budclaw's evolution is unsettled: it is given as evolving into both Shrubclaw and Geoclaw.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
Split evolution paths in Aniimo often depend on extra conditions beyond level gains.
Other species with split lines, such as Prankie evolving into either Glacy at level 20 or Leafy, rely on distinct triggers. Certain Aniimo evolutions require specific conditions or progression milestones beyond simply leveling up, including trading to another player or defeating an Alpha variant of that species.
Catching an Alpha boss grants an already-evolved Aniimo directly without needing to evolve it. If you choose to evolve any creature, note that evolving an Umbral Aniimo permanently removes its Umbral visual appearance, state, and special perks.
Not settled: Whether Budclaw branches into Geoclaw and Shrubclaw through separate in-game requirements or one form replaced the other across game versions remains unsettled.
