Guides › Aniimo graphics settings: FPS, black and red screen fixes
What does the Animation Quality setting do?
Animation Quality is an adjustable graphics option that governs animation rendering, which uses CPU and memory, and setting it to Low reduces the visual fidelity of moving characters.
Lowering it frees CPU and memory, and you pay for that in how characters look while they move. Animation rendering is real work for your system, so this is one of the settings to lower when the game stutters or your device runs hot. Characters in motion look rougher at Low.
It belongs to a group of options that cut load in different ways. Shadow Quality can go to Low or off entirely. Separate settings cap how many scene objects, wild Aniimo and other Pathfinders (stranger marks) appear on screen. Those reduce how much gets drawn. Animation Quality reduces how well moving characters are drawn. If you only want to trade away one thing, choose the cost you mind least.
If lowering settings does not cure the lag, check storage. Exact needs vary by device, and freeing 30 to 40GB is advised to avoid lag and other problems.
