What is Astra in Aniimo?

Astra is a floating city in the sky that serves as the central shared multiplayer social hub, where players congregate and see other Pathfinders.

Outside of shared hubs like Astra, the continent of Idyll has no visible players.

Aniimo is primarily a solo experience where the main story can only be progressed alone. The open world is not persistently shared, meaning stranger Pathfinders will not populate the landscape unless you invite them into your world. Shared public locations like this sky metropolis, along with outposts, campfires, and RV parks, are the places where other players actually appear.

When you see someone in the city, you can interact with them immediately. Pressing the F key opens the player interaction menu, and tapping another player's avatar opens their interaction panel directly. Auto voice is disabled by default in the chat settings, so voice communication requires toggling that option first.

Server and Platform Matching

Encountering other Pathfinders in Astra requires being on the same regional server. The game offers three options before starting: Aniimo-America, Aniimo-Europe, and Aniimo-APAC. Progress and data on different servers remain entirely independent.

Because the game features cross-play, users on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile can all see each other inside Astra as long as they log into the same regional server.
