Guides › How to unlock RV expeditions and upgrade the RV
Can housing layouts be shared with other players?
Homeland housing and furniture group layouts can be shared with other players using layout codes.
Share codes cover complete house setups as well as smaller furniture groupings. Distributing a code allows another player to duplicate an exact furniture layout without manually positioning individual items.
Access to Homeland decorating requires reaching Wayfarer level 20 to unlock the Homeland system itself. The personal RV home unlocks by completing the early-game NPC mission GoGo Homes from Fanny. Wood and minerals harvested inside the private Homeland space supply the materials needed to upgrade and decorate the RV.
Visiting Other Homes
Players do not need to rely solely on share codes to show off their designs. You can invite friends into your world and enter each other's personal home plots through co-op invites.
Visiting a friend's Home contributes directly to your shared Affinity level. Affinity builds through ordinary play, such as fighting together, chatting, sending gifts, trading Aniimo, and touring Homelands. A higher Affinity tier widens the range of Aniimo eligible for trading. Additionally, while most decorations remain tied to the homestead, certain interactive furniture items can be placed and used directly in the open world.
