What is the Aniimo battle pass?
The name of Aniimo's seasonal battle pass, which is sold in the shop, is unsettled, given as both the Journey Handbook and the Companion Handbook (also called the Companion Manual or Companion Guide); it is part of the game's microtransactions, with rewards including cosmetics, journey-assisting items and a unique Aniimo form that unlock gradually as battle pass experience is earned, and it has a free tier open to all players as well as paid tiers: a free standard edition that unlocks only the top track, plus two paid editions, the Advanced edition (Advanced Companion Handbook), priced at about US$10 (listed as both $9.99 and $10.00) or €9.99, which unlocks both the standard and advanced reward tracks, and the higher Collector's edition, priced at €23.99.
Each handbook purchase applies strictly to that active cycle and does not carry over.
Pressing F1 opens the navigation menu and Companion Manual. You advance handbook tiers by earning Companion EXP from daily activities. The pass contains no exclusive gameplay items, so equipment and materials found on the tracks can also be acquired through standard play. Free progression includes a Fulmintis egg at level 10, which acts as the sole acquisition method for players who do not buy a pass.
Collector's edition extras
The Collector's Companion Handbook, also titled the Companion's Memory Manual, costs between $19.99 and €24.00 depending on platform storefronts. Activating it provides an instant 10-level boost. The bundle adds an exclusive doll, an avatar frame, Anipods, Glimmer, Sparkling Cubes, and 300 Primoria energy alongside the handbook tracks.
Monthly pass separation
Aniimo sells a monthly pass for $4.99 as an entirely separate purchase. Buying the monthly pass does not unlock paid battle pass tracks. It instead awards 6,000 Companion EXP spread over 30 days to help level the handbook.
Not settled: Whether Prismana Fulmintis appears on the free track or remains exclusive to paid tracks is not settled.
