Guides › Egg types, guaranteed potential and mutations
Where do you find regular eggs?
Regular (Normal) eggs are found hidden throughout the open world while exploring, appearing in nests and field spawns, and are collected as items.
High-difficulty areas and the Sanctum place hostile Umbra Aniimo or bosses around eggs. Reaching those spots means fighting through the encounter before you can collect the item.
Exploring the wild also ties into broader discovery rewards. Collecting Lumin Ambers can award eggs alongside other prizes as you search the map. Any eggs you secure in the field are taken to a Hatchinator to hatch.
