Guides › Homeland RV expeditions: dispatches, eggs and rewards
Which Aniimo can bring back eggs from RV trips?
Not every Aniimo can bring back eggs from RV trips: starter Aniimo and Somniwing cannot, while Sparkelf can be sent out to gather eggs.
A starter or a Somniwing still goes on the trip, but you will not get an egg back from it. If eggs are why you are dispatching, send something else. Sparkelf is the one confirmed egg gatherer, so it is the safe pick.
An eligible Aniimo can come back with a Mysterious Egg or an egg of its own species. Nothing guarantees one, and no trip always returns an egg. Duration is the lever you control. Expeditions run for 6, 12 or 24 hours. Six hours is enough to get an egg back, and each longer trip makes an egg of the Aniimo's own family more likely.
## When a non-egg Aniimo is still worth sending
Eggs are not the only reward. Aniimo on Homeland RV trips and automated dispatches can bring back trip materials, including baseline materials and held items. The leader of the dispatch loadout can also gain +1 random potential stat from the investigation. A starter can do well as leader and pick up that stat while an egg-capable Aniimo in the same loadout hunts for eggs.
Not settled: Only a few Aniimo have been checked either way. Starters and Somniwing can't bring back eggs and Sparkelf can. For the rest of the roster, nobody has settled which side each one falls on.
