Who picks the Special Offering in Holo Interlink?
In Holo Battle Interlink the party leader (the first player in a matchmade group) selects the Special Offering, and that buff applies to the whole party.
If you queue alone and get matched with strangers, you may not be the one making the choice. Holo Battle Interlink uses team matchmaking with random players, and the pick belongs to whoever is first player (1P) in that matched group. Everyone else plays under the buff 1P chose.
That works in your favour as often as against it. One player's selection covers every party member, so a sensible pick from the leader buffs the whole team at once. The same goes for the leader's season buffs, which also apply to the whole team rather than only to the leader.
If you want control over the offering, you need to be the leader. When you are matched in as a later player, plan your Aniimo around a buff someone else picked. Phase 2 can still be completed with a randomly matched party, so a pick you would not have made yourself does not stop the run.
