Egg Heist: The PvPvE Mode
Egg Heist is the only place some Aniimo exist. Here is what the beta showed about how it runs, what it drops, and who to bring.
The short version
- Exclusive rare eggs and Aniimo forms come from Egg Heist and nowhere else in the game.
- Dark forms, including Darklers and the Umbrabow form, are Egg Heist only. Accumulated currency can be exchanged for an Umbrabow egg.
- Diamond Egg Heist arrived in the third beta and puts up to six teams of three against each other over a single objective.
- Wild Aniimo can be caught on the island exterior while a Heist is running.
- Flutternym's circle heal keeps healing through revives and chest opens. Pawney also performs well here.
- During the beta, certain rewards were locked behind the PvP side of the mode.
Most game modes are optional. Egg Heist is not, at least not if you care about collecting. It holds rare eggs and Aniimo forms that cannot be obtained anywhere else, so skipping it leaves permanent gaps in your roster.
The mode mixes fighting other players with the ordinary business of catching creatures. Wild Aniimo can be captured on the island exterior while a Heist is running, so the map is not purely a battleground. Progress through the mode also pays out rewards over time, which means the grind rewards attendance rather than just wins.
Everything below comes from beta builds, so treat it as the shape of the mode rather than final numbers.
The dark forms live here and only here
Egg Heist contains exclusive rare eggs and Aniimo forms that cannot be obtained anywhere else in the game. The clearest example is the dark forms. Darklers and the Umbrabow form are obtained exclusively through Egg Heist.
There is a second route to Umbrabow beyond luck. Currency accumulated in the mode can be exchanged for an Umbrabow egg, so a player who keeps showing up can buy their way to the form instead of waiting on drops. Progressing through Egg Heist also provides rewards over time, which is the part that makes steady play worth more than a single good session.
One caveat from the beta. Certain Egg Heist rewards were obtainable exclusively through its PvP mode, so avoiding player combat closed off part of the reward list.
Diamond Egg Heist and the six-team objective
Diamond Egg Heist was introduced in the third beta. It pits up to six teams of three players against each other over a single objective.
That is a lot of contest for one prize. Eighteen players, one thing worth taking, and no version of the fight where you are the only team that wants it. Plan around being interrupted rather than around a clean run.
This is also where the PvP-locked rewards matter. If some of the list only comes from the PvP side, the crowded objective is not an obstacle to the loot. It is the loot.

Catching while the Heist runs
Wild Aniimo can be captured on the island exterior during Egg Heist. The mode is not a sealed arena, and time spent outside the objective is not wasted time.
That creates a real split in how you build a team. Rosters may need adjustments based on the catching region or for Egg Heist specifically, and those two pressures do not always point the same way. A team tuned for catching in a region is not automatically the team you want when five other squads are pushing the same objective.
Decide before you queue which job you are there to do.
Who to bring
Flutternym is the standout support pick. Its circle heal continues to heal while you are reviving teammates or opening chests, which covers exactly the moments when you are stationary and vulnerable. In a mode built around contested objects and downed allies, healing that does not stop when your hands are busy is worth more than raw output.
Pawney is effective in Egg Heist, in PvP, and in Alpha boss dungeon battles. That breadth makes it an easy investment. You are not building it for one mode.
Between them you cover the two things Egg Heist keeps asking for: staying alive through a contested revive, and winning the fight that caused it.

Where to start
If you want Darklers or Umbrabow, put Egg Heist on your regular rotation early. Bring Flutternym for the objective work, Pawney for everything, and keep a second roster in mind for catching on the exterior.
