Flutternym and Gracewing: The Wind Healers
Flutternym is the wind healer you bring when the team needs to stay standing: a ghost that ticks HP back on every skill cast, a heal circle that keeps working while you revive and loot, and an evolution into Gracewing that carries the same support forward.
The short version
- Flutternym is a wind-element healer and support Aniimo that evolves into Gracewing.
- Its ghost restores player HP whenever a skill is cast, and both forms give identical ghost effects.
- Its active heal is an area of effect circle covering every teammate inside it; Healing Dance deploys an area of effect that restores health across the entire team.
- The circle keeps healing while you revive teammates or open chests, which is why it fits Egg Heist.
- In online boss fights, several players can each bring Flutternym and stack the healing.
- It spawns in the starting region of Nimbus Fields and in Mistwood, and it has Glide for traversal.
Most early Aniimo ask you to decide what you want to kill. Flutternym asks a different question: what do you want to keep alive. It is a wind-element healer and support, and it does that job in two ways at once.
The first is passive and constant. The second is a circle you drop on the ground. Together they mean Flutternym contributes even when you are not the one attacking, which matters more than it sounds once you are in a boss fight or hauling eggs.
Here is what it does, where you find it, and what it becomes.
The ghost that pays out on every skill
Flutternym summons a ghost that restores player HP whenever a skill is cast. That is the passive half of the kit, and it is the reason Flutternym is worth a team slot even in fights where nobody is in danger yet. You are already casting skills. The healing comes along with them.
The active half is an area of effect circle that heals all teammates standing within it. Healing Dance deploys an area of effect that restores health across the entire team. Stand in it, stay healed. The design rewards a team that clusters instead of scattering, so tell your friends where you are putting it down.

Why it works in Egg Heist
The detail that makes Flutternym more than a generic healer is what the circle does while you are busy. It continues to heal while you are reviving teammates or opening chests.
That is the exact problem Egg Heist creates. The moments you most need healing are the moments you are locked into an animation and cannot do anything about it. Reviving a downed player is the worst possible time to lose HP, and opening a chest is a commitment you make with enemies still around. Flutternym's circle covers both. You drop it, you go do the thing, and the healing does not stop just because your hands are full.
Stacking Flutternym in online boss fights
Multiple players in the same online boss fight can each bring Flutternym, and their healing stacks. This is not a case where the second healer is wasted.
It gives co-op groups a real lever. If a boss is out-damaging your team's sustain, more Flutternym is a valid answer instead of a redundant one. Two players running it doubles down on the same circle logic, and the ghost effects keep ticking for each of them on every skill cast.
Gracewing, and what carries over
Flutternym evolves into Gracewing. Gracewing provides team-wide healing abilities, so the role does not change on evolution. You are not trading your healer for a damage dealer.
Both forms provide identical healing ghost effects. That is worth knowing before you invest, because it means the passive you built your habits around behaves the same after the evolution. Whatever you learned about timing skill casts on Flutternym is still correct on Gracewing.
Flutternym
- Wind element healer and support Aniimo.
- Summons a ghost that restores player HP whenever a skill is cast.
- Active ability creates an area of effect circle that heals all teammates standing within it.
- Has the Glide traversal ability.
Gracewing
- The evolution of Flutternym.
- Provides team wide healing abilities.
- Provides the identical healing ghost effect.
Where to catch one
Flutternym spawns in the starting region of Nimbus Fields, which means you can have a healer in the team early rather than waiting for one to show up later. It also spawns in Mistwood, so there is a second place to look if the first sweep comes up empty.
It has the Glide traversal ability as well. That makes it useful outside combat, not just as a body you swap in when health bars get low.
Where to start
If you want one support Aniimo to commit to early, this is a strong candidate. Catch it in Nimbus Fields on the way through, learn to place the circle before you start a revive or a chest, and know that the evolution into Gracewing keeps the healing ghost exactly as it was.
