Eggs: Where to Find Them and What Hatches

Plenty of eggs sit out in the world, but not in the open. Certain overworld eggs are blocked by obstacles like vines, and reaching them requires specific field abilities. If you can see an egg and cannot touch it, that is usually the answer: you do not have the right ability available yet. Note where it was and come back.

Burning is the other half of this. Burning obstacles in the overworld can reveal hidden eggs and Aniimo underneath, which means a cleared patch of scenery is sometimes a cache rather than just scenery. Treat burnable clutter as worth burning even when nothing is visible behind it.

Sparkling Aniimo matter here too. They can be found in the wild or obtained through egg hatching, so exploring and hatching are two ways at the same prize rather than separate goals.

Operation Egg Heist offers a broader selection of obtainable egg types than anything else, including rare eggs and Aniimo forms that cannot be obtained anywhere else in the game. That is the part to take seriously.

Dark forms are the clearest example. Darklers and the Umbrabow form are obtained exclusively through Egg Heist. Darkler variant eggs come from the activity itself, and currency you accumulate there can also be exchanged for an Umbrabow egg, so a run that goes badly still moves you forward.

The mode goes by several names: Operation: Egg Heist, PvP Egg Heist, Diamond Egg Heist, Diamond Egg Stealing. It is a multiplayer mode introduced in the third beta and it centres on collecting exclusive Aniimo eggs. Its format is not settled. It is given as a competitive mode in which teams race to collect eggs, as a PvP-only variant played in teams of three, as a real-time PvEvP mode in the Lost Isles where three-player teams battle monsters and other players to gather and extract eggs and resources, as an objective-holding match between two teams, as a team-versus-team PvP match pitting up to six three-player teams against each other over a single objective, and as a dedicated PvE-only cooperative mode with no PvP combat. Go in expecting to learn which one you are queueing for.

If you came looking for a Prismana Aniimo egg, there are two places it turns up. The $9.99 Advanced Pack includes a Prismana Aniimo egg. The Advanced Companion Handbook lists a perfect-potential Prismana Aniimo egg among its rewards, alongside evolution materials and other items.

Here is why the difference matters. Prismana eggs can be hatched and have the potential to yield a perfect Aniimo. Potential is the word doing the work. The Handbook reward is the one stated as perfect-potential outright, so if you want the ceiling rather than the chance at it, that is the version to chase.

Players can send each other gift boxes, and some of those reward the recipient with an Aniimo egg that can be hatched at a Hatchinator. Receiving costs you nothing, so there is no reason to leave that idle.

Collecting Lumin Ambers can award players eggs alongside other prizes, which makes amber collection more than a completion chore.

The "Time to Aniimo!" web event has a known pool, which makes it the easiest one to plan around. Five Aniimo can be hatched from its eggs: Susuta, Celestis, Fentuft, Nimbi and Emberpup. Each one is available in a regular form and a Sparkling form.

Beta participants can transfer secured creatures to the global launch through a sealed promise egg, claimed on the official event page using the beta account. That is the mechanism that carries beta work forward.

There is a condition, and it catches people out. Sealed promise eggs cannot be hatched immediately at launch. You have to unlock that Aniimo's form in the Anilog first, by catching its basic version. So the egg is a reservation rather than a shortcut. Do the catching work, then cash it in.

Sort your field abilities out so overworld eggs stop being scenery, then spend your activity time on Egg Heist, because it is the only door to the dark forms. Gifts, ambers and the web event arrive on their own schedule, and the sealed promise egg waits until the Anilog says you have earned it.
