Finding and catching a spawned Prismana

The beam tells you where it is and the cutscene tells you which one. A Sparkling Cube always catches it, but whether that makes it sparkling is not settled.

The short version

  1. Filling an area's Prismatic Energy gauge makes its designated Prismana spawn straight away; the spawn is guaranteed and its location is marked by a vertical beam of light.
  2. A Sparkling Cube has a guaranteed 100% catch rate, so throwing one at a spawned Prismana always captures it.
  3. Whether a Sparkling Cube also guarantees a sparkling result, or perfect stats, is not settled; the one thing it does not do is lower quality.
  4. Prismana and sparkling are separate qualities. A Prismana can be sparkling, and an Alpha Sparkling Prismana is built up in stages rather than found in the wild.
  5. Prismana variants do not inherently have better stats, moves or abilities, though some carry something exclusive, such as Prismana Blazen's Dark-type skill.

Most of the work of finding a Prismana goes into filling the bar. Once it is full, the game makes the rest easy. The creature spawns at once, it is guaranteed to appear, and the game shows you where it is.

This guide picks up at that point. It covers how to read the spawn, what a Sparkling Cube actually does when you throw it, how Prismana and sparkling relate (they are not the same thing), and the limited event Prismana running this month. Which creature spawns in which region, and the full event rotation, have their own guide.

How you know a Prismana has spawned

When a strike fills an area's Prismatic Energy gauge completely, the area triggers a Prismana flow or explosion and switches to Prismana weather. That area's designated Prismatic Aniimo, the Prismana, spawns immediately. It is guaranteed to appear and its location is marked, so you do not have to sweep the map for it.

The marker is a vertical beam of light at the spawn point, a large light beside the bloom. If you can see the beam, you know where to go.

Nurturing a region's bloom to maximum rank also triggers a cutscene revealing where that region's exclusive Prismana is. Each region's bloom is tied to a specific Aniimo in Prismana form; filling one spawns Prismana Melloblum, for example. So the cutscene tells you which one you are getting, and the beam tells you where it is standing.

Catching it with a Sparkling Cube

The Sparkling Cube is a premium Anipod bought with real money. Players also call it a Sparkling Pod, Sparkling Aniipod, Sparkling Anipot, Gleam Cube, Twinkle Cube, Shiny Cube or Shiny Anicube, so if you see any of those names, they mean the same item. It has a guaranteed 100% catch rate. Throw one at a spawned Prismana and you catch it, every time.

That part is settled. What the Cube does to the creature you catch is not. In one version it makes anything caught or hatched with it sparkling, Prismana included and eggs during incubation included, with a shiny appearance and sparkling Prismana quality, and it turns an Alpha into a Perfect Sparkling Alpha. In another it gives a 99% chance of a standard gleaming variant. In others it only gives a chance at the sparkling attribute, a chance of hatching one, or an easier shiny capture.

Perfect stats are just as unsettled. One version has the Cube guaranteeing perfect potential on anything it captures since the launch update, Alpha and Prismana included, and raising a guaranteed elite potential on an egg or hatchling to perfect. The other has it still able to roll imperfect stats, Alphas included, possibly landing only at elite or with no elite guarantee at all. The one firm point is that it never lowers quality.

Even how the Cube fits into Prismana hunting is unsettled. It is treated both as especially valuable for catching Prismana, or required for it, and as an item you use on a Prismana you have already caught to change its hue. Until that settles, the safe reading is the 100% catch rate. Anything beyond that is a bonus you cannot count on.

Sparkling Cube catch rate

A Sparkling Cube throw at a spawned Prismana always catches it, but whether it also guarantees a sparkling result is unsettled.

Prismana vs sparkling: two different things

Prismana and sparkling are separate qualities, and a creature can have both. Prismana is a form you get by filling the bar. Sparkling is the shiny, dazzling, gleaming version. So yes, a Prismana can be a sparkling Aniimo, and the event Prismana below include Sparkling forms.

The top of that ladder is the Alpha Sparkling Prismana, one of the rarest combinations in the game. You will not stumble on one; it is built up in stages rather than met as a natural encounter.

Prismana is also not the only kind of variant. Aniimo can have weather-based forms and other variations that have nothing to do with Prismana, so a creature that looks unusual is not automatically one.

Limited event Prismana

The Vein Abundance event offers limited-time Prismana, Sparkling forms included. Melum, Widle, Glancer and Inferralupa are among them. You will find it on the second page of the Events tab, which opens from the controller icon at the bottom left.

Two dates matter this month. Prismana Widle spawns in Berline Val from October 5 to October 12, 2026. A Prismana Carnival runs at the end of the month, from 19 to 25 October.

What these cost is not settled. Limited-time Prismana are described as catchable without spending any Vein Essence, and also as obtained with Vein Essence, with your supply of it capping how many you can get. Check your Vein Essence before you commit to a long session.

Is the catch worth it?

Judge it on what the creature is, not on the word Prismana. Prismana variants do not inherently have superior stats, moves or abilities, so a Prismana is not a straight upgrade over the normal form.

Some do carry something you cannot get elsewhere. Prismana Blazen has an exclusive Dark-type skill, and that kind of extra is a real reason to want a specific one. Rarity is the other reason. A limited-time form or an Alpha Sparkling Prismana is about collecting, not raw power.

As for the Cube, what you are certainly paying for is a catch that cannot fail. Sparkling quality and perfect stats are not guaranteed by anything settled, so do not spend real money expecting them.

Where to start

Fill the bar, follow the beam, and catch the creature. Spend a Sparkling Cube only when a guaranteed catch is worth real money to you on its own. Get Prismana Widle in Berline Val between October 5 and October 12, 2026, and keep 19 to 25 October free for the Prismana Carnival.
