How to Get Prismana Forms and Prismana Orbs

Prismana Orbs, the Pact unlock, and the regions that own each form.

4 min read5 sectionschecked updated

The short version

  1. Prismana Orbs transform an Aniimo into its Prismana form. Morph Orbs do not, and never will.
  2. The Prismana Pact selection needs level 40, Chapter 3 complete, and Wayfarer rank 1.
  3. Use the Orb on a sparkling Aniimo and you get a sparkling Prismana, with Alpha status and perfect potential intact.
  4. Prismana forms appear in the wild during the rare Prismana Flow weather, and each region has its own assigned form.
  5. Filling a region's Prismana energy bar completely guarantees a spawn there, so you do not have to wait on weather.
  6. Infergon's Prismana form is the exception: seasonal achievements only.

There are two ways to end up with a Prismana Aniimo. You can catch one in the wild, in the region that owns it. Or you can take an Aniimo you already have and apply a Prismana Orb to it.

The Orb route is the one you control. The wild route depends on weather and on how far you have pushed a region. Most players end up using both, because some Prismana forms are tied to a specific zone and will not show up anywhere else.

Unlocking the Prismana Pact selection requires reaching level 40, completing Chapter 3, and achieving Wayfarer rank 1. That is the gate. Everything below assumes you are past it.

What a Prismana Orb actually does

A Prismana Orb transforms an Aniimo into its Prismana form. That is the whole function of the item, and it is the most reliable path to a specific Prismana you want.

Morph Orbs cannot do this. They are a different item and they will not produce a Prismana form no matter how many you have. If you are sitting on a stack of Morph Orbs waiting for one to turn something Prismana, stop.

Branching evolution is also a separate system, and it is easy to confuse the two when you are new. Some Aniimo evolve along branching paths rather than a single linear line, giving you two path options with their own requirements, settled by quest decisions and the items you have collected. That fork has nothing to do with Prismana forms.

Where Prismana Aniimo spawn in the wild

Each region features specific Prismana Aniimo variants locked to that zone. You cannot farm one region for everything. If a form belongs to a zone, that zone is where you go.

Prismana-form Aniimo appear in the wild while the rare Prismana Flow weather is active in a region, and each region has its own assigned Prismana form. When one spawns, you are not left sweeping the map for it: the precise location is marked by a blossoming flower icon.

Three known spawns are worth writing down. Prismana Blazen spawns in Blitz Wood, south of its Bloom location. Prismana Cornet spawns in Argent Stray and is easiest to reach through its flower teleporter location. Prismana Panpanta spawns at Echo Battle Landing.

Infergon is the exception to all of this. Its Prismana form is obtainable exclusively through seasonal achievements, so no amount of weather watching or region grinding will produce one.

Making a Prismana spawn instead of waiting for one

Waiting on rare weather is slow, and the game gives you levers. Completely filling a region's Prismana energy bar guarantees a Prismana Aniimo spawn in that area. That is the cleanest version of the mechanic: fill the bar, get the spawn.

The nurture system is the other lever, and it comes into play during later progression. Filling prismatic energy to maximum capacity in a nurture branch triggers a regional Prismana variant spawn. Completing bloom events in an area and then releasing the accumulated prismatic energy after nurturing gives you a chance at that area's Prismana Aniimo, with one eventually guaranteed. So the chance-based route still ends somewhere fixed. It just takes longer.

Two things feed in from the map side, both covered properly elsewhere on this site. Activating blooms and upgrading a region's bloom branch unlocks weather control and populates the nurture menu, with Prismana weather control becoming available at 60 percent completion of the bloom graph. The requirement for weather alteration itself is not settled: it is given both as silver regional completion at 70% and as branch level 60 with 60 Lumin Amber in the Breezy Plains branch.

60 percent

Bloom graph completion for Prismana weather control

Prismana weather control only becomes available once a region's bloom graph reaches this point, so it sets how much bloom work you do before you can summon instead of wait.

What the Orb keeps, and what you build afterwards

This is the part worth planning around. Applying a Prismana Orb to an existing sparkling Aniimo produces a sparkling Prismana, and it preserves traits such as Alpha status and perfect potential. Nothing good is burned off in the transformation. So spend the Orb on your best copy of a creature, not on a spare you happened to have in the box.

Power after that comes from Core Skill upgrades. Prismatic Stones, together with capability fruit, upgrade an Aniimo's Core Skill, boosting its damage and adding utility. Irisalis Petals come from the main story, exploration, alpha clears, and branch nurturing, so ordinary play keeps a supply moving without a dedicated farm.

Looks are handled separately. Aniimo can be customized with cosmetic accessories like hats and glasses, and those can be visually adjusted once equipped.

Where to start

Clear the Pact unlock first, then decide per creature: Orb your best existing copy, or go to the region that owns the form you want and fill its Prismana energy bar. Infergon is the one you plan around a season for.
