How to Transform Aniimo into Prismana Forms
Prismana forms are the rare, radiant version of a Nova-stage Aniimo, and a Prismana Orb is the only item that puts one on the field. Here is what the orb does, what the second element means, and what stays the same.

The short version
- A Prismana is an exceptionally rare, radiant variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo of the same species, with a modified 3D model and an alternate color palette.
- A Prismana Orb transforms an eligible Aniimo into its Prismana form, and only works if that Aniimo's Prismana form has already been acquired or unlocked.
- Morph Orbs cannot transform an Aniimo into a Prismana form.
- Prismana variants can gain a second element on top of their base element, making them dual-element. Prismana Thornblade is Grass and Water; Fulmintis gains Light; Cornet adds Lightning.
- Prismana Turbo keeps the Support role of its base form.
A Prismana is an exceptionally rare, radiant variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo. Same species, new look: a modified 3D model and an alternate color palette. If you have seen one in someone else's team and wondered what you were looking at, that is it.
Getting the form is one problem. Putting it on the field is a separate one, and it has exactly one answer. A Prismana Orb transforms an eligible Aniimo into its Prismana form. Nothing else does.
What you get out of the change is mostly a matter of typing. Several Prismana forms carry a second element that the base form does not have, and that is the part of the system that is firm.
What is a Prismana Aniimo
A Prismana is a variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo of the same species, distinguished by a modified 3D model and an alternate color palette. Exceptionally rare, and it looks it.
How deep the change runs is not settled. A Prismana is a purely visual alternate variant by one account of the game and an empowered final evolution that differs in more than appearance by another, and the game has not resolved which it is. The typing, covered below, is the part you can rely on.
Transforming with a Prismana Orb
Prismana Orbs are used to transform an Aniimo into its Prismana form. The catch is the precondition: the orb can only be used if that Aniimo's Prismana form has already been acquired or unlocked. The orb is the switch, not the source. Holding a stack of them does nothing for a creature whose Prismana form you have never had.
Morph Orbs do not help here. They cannot transform an Aniimo into a Prismana form, whatever else they do. If you are sitting on Morph Orbs and waiting for a Prismana, you are waiting for the wrong item.
The second element, and where it comes from
Prismana variants can gain a second element on top of their base element, which makes them dual-element. The base element does not go away. The new one sits alongside it.
The pattern is easiest to read on Thornblade, No. 034. In its Basic form it is a Grass-element Aniimo. Prismana Thornblade is dual Grass and Water. Fulmintis gains the Light element in its Prismana form. Cornet is a Wind DPS, and its Prismana form adds Lightning. Stellarys acts as an Ice and Dark DPS, its Prismana variant adding Ice to its base Dark element.
The same shows up in the finished pairings. Prismana Turbo is Dark and Wind. Prismana Grisbow is Dark and Earth. Two elements on one creature, where the standard form had one.

What stays the same after the change
Role carries over. Turbo is a Support, and Prismana Turbo retains that Support role. You are not rebuilding your team around the transformed creature.
The move set is the unsettled part. A Prismana is given both as a rare variant with unique skills, ultimates and move sets that gain or change elemental types, and as keeping exactly the same moves and abilities as its standard form. That question is still open in the game. The dual typing above is not.

Where to start
Unlock the Prismana form first, then spend a Prismana Orb to switch a creature into it. Expect a second element and the same role. Do not expect a Morph Orb to do the job.
