Can two Aniimo of the same species differ from each other?

Catching multiple copies of the same creature does not produce identical results. When you appraise captured specimens at the Research Outpost, their values, traits, and overall capabilities diverge immediately. Two creatures at the exact same level will grow at different rates and require different amounts of resources to build.

Stat Allocations and Potential

Every creature splits its power across six core attributes: HP, Attack, Physical Defense, Regen, Magic Defense, and Break. Each attribute draws from innate potential rolled at capture or hatching, combined with acquired potential gained later. Innate potential rolls naturally up to 9, while special items like fruits can push it to the maximum of 10. Standard attributes cap at a combined total of 20.

Because these points land differently, two specimens rarely share the same strengths. Each creature also has two stats marked as priority attributes, flagged on the stat screen with a thumbs-up icon. Even at the highest grade of Perfect, where min-maxing begins, stat spreads remain distinct from one specimen to the next. Starting with higher innate potential also reduces the total Astranite you must spend to crown that stat at maximum potential.

Alpha Status and Traits

Physical size does not dictate efficiency. An Alpha Aniimo can roll stats higher or lower than its base species standard, meaning an Alpha tag alone does not guarantee high potential or superior combat ability.

Individual creatures also carry distinct traits. A specimen might feature a sparkling potential aura, which is an independent visual property from a shiny variant. For Elite creatures, that aura is mandatory if you intend to upgrade them to Perfect rarity.
