Look closely at the visual cues before committing resources. The sparkling potential aura is completely separate from an Aniimo being a shiny variant. A shiny creature lacking the aura cannot reach Perfect rarity, whereas a standard-colored Elite with the aura is fully eligible.

You cannot confirm an individual Aniimo's exact potential ratings in the wild. A creature's type and full stats remain hidden until you report your catches at the Research Outpost.

Evaluating Candidates for Upgrades

If you are breeding or hatching, using an Aniipod Ultra guarantees that the hatched Aniimo holds at least an Elite potential rating. Sparkling eggs also guarantee that the hatchling possesses the sparkling trait.

Reaching the Perfect tier is where attribute min-maxing begins, because higher potential grades grant larger attribute increases on level up. When evaluating an eligible Elite at the outpost, inspect its innate potential values. Higher starting potential directly lowers the total Astranite needed to max out an attribute.
