How to Upgrade Elite Aniimo to Perfect Rarity

Only elite Aniimo that display a sparkling potential aura can be upgraded to perfect rarity. Not every Elite is eligible, so the aura is the first thing to check and the thing that decides whether the rest of this matters for that creature.

Treat it as a filter on your box. An Elite without the aura is a fine Aniimo and it stays an Elite. An Elite with the aura is an upgrade candidate, and it is worth holding onto even if you were planning to move on from it.

Because rank feeds stats directly, that distinction compounds over the life of the creature. Two Aniimo at the same level with the same personality are not equal if one is Perfect and the other is Elite.

Innate potential represents the fixed starting points an Aniimo possesses on capture or birth. It works like individual values: you do not train it up, and special items like fruits are what raise it.

Every Aniimo has two attributes the game marks as its recommended stats to raise, shown in priority order as 1st and 2nd. A Capability Fruit grants plus one to each of those two recommended innate potentials, and it can be applied to lower rarity tiers to upgrade them. The ceilings are worth knowing while you plan. Nine is the highest innate potential value that can be rolled naturally, while ten is the highest an Aniimo can have at all. The top value is therefore not something you can catch your way into. It comes from an item.

An individual Aniimo can consume only one Capability Fruit. There is no second application later when you have more resources or a better idea, which makes the choice of recipient the real decision here rather than the acquisition.

Getting the fruit is the easier half. It costs 1,000 Glimmer in the shop, but you can also obtain it free through regular gameplay, including by exchanging 20 Potential Seeds. If you are not in a hurry, the free routes cost you nothing but time.

So the sensible order is: find your aura-bearing Elites first, decide which one you actually want to keep raising, then spend the fruit on that one.

Reaching Perfect is a rank on the whole Aniimo. It does not guarantee that every individual stat is maxed out. Those are two different things and the game distinguishes them.

What tells you the stats are maxed is a crown on the Aniimo's Perfect icon. If you see Perfect with no crown, some stats are still short of the top, and that is normal rather than a sign something went wrong with the upgrade.

Keep that in mind before you go hunting for a second fruit to finish the job. There is no second fruit for that creature. A Perfect Aniimo is a strong Aniimo whether or not it wears a crown.

05Where to start

Sort your Elites by whether they sparkle, pick the one you want as a long-term keeper, and feed it a Capability Fruit. Earn the fruit through play if you would rather not spend the 1,000 Glimmer. Then stop checking for the crown, because the upgrade is done either way.
