Guides › Irisalis ultimate Floral Descent: clones, cost and bugs
Can Irisalis have two clones at once?
Casting Irisalis's ultimate while an Iris Shadow clone is active puts two clones on the field, increasing damage output.
The second clone comes from her ultimate, Floral Descent, which costs two ultimate charges. Iris Shadow, her second skill, makes the first clone. Cast Floral Descent while that clone is still standing and the ultimate drops its own clone beside it. The ultimate's clone lasts 30 seconds.
Order matters. Put Iris Shadow down first, then spend the ultimate while that clone is still alive. Recasting Floral Descent does not stack a second ultimate clone. It resets the one you have and refreshes its duration to 30 seconds. A recast is still useful for keeping that clone up, but it costs another two segments of the ultimate bar.
Not settled: Floral Descent often bugs out and fails to spawn its clone, especially when you cast it under a ceiling. When that happens you only have the Iris Shadow clone, and the two charges are still spent.
