Do Alpha Aniimo have upgraded Core Skills?
Alpha Aniimo caught in the overworld come with an enhanced version of their Core Skill by default and keep it without needing a pact with their Held Item.
You can swap equipment freely without losing any upgraded Core Skills on an Alpha Aniimo.
Overworld Alpha Bosses retain those enhancements regardless of which held item you choose to equip. They do not require bond held items to unlock their score upgrade, leaving you free to select gear based strictly on passive utility.
Held items provide bonuses such as increased HP, stat boosts, buffs, and damage amplification, with some items granting stat boosts as early as their tier one effect. These bonuses push effective stats beyond what the standard 20-point per-stat potential ceiling allows on its own. You can enhance these items using Basic, Common, and Advanced Held Item Cores without tracking creature-specific gear contracts.
