Guides › How Capability Awakening works in Aniimo
How do you upgrade a non-Alpha Aniimo's Core Skill?
How a normal, non-Alpha Aniimo's Core Skill is upgraded is unsettled. It is described as using 10 Marks of the Strong, as requiring a contract with a Legendary Held Item, and as using Prismatic Stones together with capability fruit, which upgrade the Core Skill once to boost its damage and add utility.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
Capability Fruit costs 1,000 Glimmer in the shop or twenty Potential Seeds. You can purchase the fruit directly from the Glimmer Shop, trade twenty Potential Seeds in the exchange shop, or pick it up for free through regular gameplay.
The upgrade adds new effects and amplifies combat performance, giving the primary skill extra battle effectiveness rather than just higher numbers. Because the process cannot be repeated on the same creature, you cannot stack stones to push a main skill further once the enhancement is applied.
