Do creatures evolve in Aniimo?
Creatures in Aniimo can evolve into higher stages, have multiple forms, and include rare variants.
Most Aniimo start in their base Lumin stage before evolving into Gamma and Nova stages.
An evolution advances the creature into a higher stage, such as Pebbling evolving into its earth-focused Gamma stage, Geodeback. Evolution sits alongside a separate form system, with 19 distinct forms across species that depend on geography, weather conditions, and quest completion.
These environmental and regional forms are not inherently stronger or rarer than standard forms. Certain alternate forms alter an Aniimo's elemental typing, while weather-dependent variants can feature altered elements, elemental enhancements, and skill upgrades.
Form swapping and move sets
An Aniimo can only be changed into an alternate or weather form if that specific variant has already been caught.
Moves unlocked from weather variants or alternate forms can be equipped onto standard forms within the same Aniimo family. Capturing that zone's Prismana and special weather forms is also required for achieving 100% completion in an area.
