Do Lucky Strikes raise Prismic energy?
Achieving a Lucky Strike while catching raises Prismic energy in the surrounding area.
◇Sept 2026
A Lucky Strike is an outcome of an ordinary catch, not a separate activity you go and do. That means the energy in a zone climbs as a side effect of playing there normally. Catch a lot in one place and you are feeding that area whether or not you set out to.
The same Lucky Strike does more than push the meter. It can award items, and it carries a chance of immediately kicking off a Prismana Flow right there. So a single good catch can hand you three things at once: loot, a higher local energy level, and a flow you did not have to build toward.
Raising energy is not the same as raising your odds
Prismana Flow comes primarily through Nurture, and both nurturing actions and catch attempts carry a flat base probability of setting one off regardless of how much energy the region is sitting on. The base chance of a Prismana Aniimo appearing during nurturing is likewise a flat rate that holds steady across every attempt. Pushing a zone's energy up with Lucky Strikes does not bend those numbers in your favour. Treat the energy gain as its own reward rather than as a way to stack the odds.
The other levers in the same area
Nurturing cultivates an area to generate Prismana energy directly, helps with capturing Prismana Aniimo, and lets you change the weather. That last part matters because specific weather conditions trigger Prismana spawns in certain locations, so weather control is a real tool and not just scenery. Separately, capturing many Aniimo in a zone unlocks the ability to release Prismana energy there, which is another reason volume catching in one spot pays off.
Not settled: What the raised energy level actually buys you is not pinned down. Flow probability stays flat per attempt whatever the regional energy, so the energy a Lucky Strike adds is doing something other than driving those odds, and exactly what is still unclear.
