Does a basic pod hatch a guaranteed perfect egg?

Ultra pods provide no additional benefit when used on a guaranteed egg.

Hatching an egg requires an Anipod, which you must select before the process begins. Because the egg itself already guarantees Perfect potential or class, loading a premium pod into the incubator changes nothing about the resulting creature.

Basic Anicubes safely deliver the full value of guaranteed eggs. Save your Aniipod Ultra inventory for Alpha Aniimo or wild encounters, where catch chances and potential floors actually depend on the pod you throw.

Special pods and egg mutations

Sparkling Cubes alter egg outcomes differently than standard tier upgrades. Hatching a non-Umbral egg with a Sparkling Cube provides a 1% chance to yield a dazzling sparkling style. Using one on a Prismana egg can trigger a shadow sparkling mutation. Outside of intentionally rolling for those cosmetic traits, basic pods remain the standard choice.
