Does Elite Training give Vein Essence?
Elite Training rewards can include Vein Essence, a nurture item, though turn-ins are an unreliable source of it.
Do not plan your week around Elite Training turn-ins. Some pay out Vein Essence and some don't, so count anything it gives you as a bonus on top of a steadier supply.
Vein Essence is the nurture item that attracts Aniimo in Breezy Plains. It is also one of the currencies for extra bloom nurture attempts once your free ones are used up. That second use is why a reliable supply matters more than one lucky turn-in.
Where to get Vein Essence reliably
The stamp shop is the fastest source. In the current season the Windborne Stamp Shop sells Vein Essence for stamps, 10 per week. Stock resets weekly, and anything you don't buy that week is lost, so buy your 10 every week.
Elite Training is one source among many. You also get Vein Essence from open-world gathering, catch milestones, Nurture Branches, Holo Battle Interlinks, the battle pass and delivering Lumin Amber to the Branch. The Mysterious Vendor in Astra sometimes has it too, but its price is not settled: two Vein Essence cost either 210,000 or 420,000 credits.
When to spend it
Save Vein Essence and nurture attempts for the weekend Vein Abundance surge, which runs Friday to Sunday. Keep at least three nurture attempts for that window. Use your free daily nurtures before you spend anything.
If you farm Prismana with a Tubster team, you need no Vein Essence at all, so a short supply from Elite Training won't hold that up.
