Farming Prismana: bloom nurture, surges and Tubster
Start a bloom nurture, clear all 20 captures inside two minutes, and fill the Prismana bar with lucky catches and surges instead of spending Vein Essence.
The short version
- A bloom nurture only pays out if you capture all 20 Aniimo it spawns within the two-minute limit.
- Capturing Aniimo during a nurture triggers Lucky Strikes more often than defeating them, and those Lucky Strikes let you skip much of the nurturing process.
- You do not need Vein Essence to get a Prismana Aniimo: lucky catches, mass-surging Aniimo during Vein Abundance and ordinary wild catches in a region all fill that region's Prismana energy bar.
- Tubster is the recommended Aniimo for farming Prismana repeatedly, Prismana Melloblum included.
- Prismana variants do not inherently have better stats, moves or abilities, though Prismana Blazen does have an exclusive Dark-type skill.
Prismana Aniimo come out of regional prismatic energy, and the way you fill that energy decides how fast you farm them. You can spend Vein Essence on nurturing, or you can catch your way there for free. This guide is about the second route.
The short version: start a bloom nurture, capture everything rather than fighting it, and lean on surges and lucky catches to do the work Vein Essence would otherwise do. Then decide whether the Prismana you are chasing is actually worth the time.
Starting a bloom nurture and clearing the 20 captures
First, find a bloom. You can show bloom locations on the map with the filters, or with the deliver Lumin Embers button.
At the bloom plant, interact with it and pick the option to attract Aniimo. That starts the nurture spawn phase and triggers a Group Appearance, so a large number of Aniimo spawn in the area at once. The mechanics of nurturing itself have their own guide on this site; what matters here is the condition for a payout. You have to capture all 20 Aniimo spawned at the blooming spot within the two-minute time limit to release the bloom energy. Missing even one means no release.
That condition shapes everything else in this route. You are not clearing a fight. You are running a capture checklist against a clock.

Catch, don't defeat: Lucky Strikes do the heavy lifting
Every capture during a nurture sequence charges the regional bloom meter. Defeating Aniimo is the slower choice, because capturing them triggers Lucky Strikes more often than defeating them does, and Lucky Strikes let you skip much of the nurturing process.
The catch counts even if you are short on materials. Capturing creatures, Lucky Strike catches included, builds prismatic energy in the Nurture Bloom without Prismana Crystals. So a player with an empty Crystal stack is not locked out of the bloom; they just have to keep catching.
Surges and lucky catches instead of Vein Essence
Vein Essence is one way to raise prismatic energy and get a Prismana. Farming lucky catches is the other, and it costs you nothing but time.
The Prismana energy bar is regional, and it fills from catches made in that region. Ordinary wild Aniimo count. So do lucky catches, and so do mass-surging Aniimo during Vein Abundance. That makes Vein Abundance the window to plan around: a surge puts a lot of catchable Aniimo in front of you at once, and every one you bag moves the bar.
The practical rule is to stay in one region while you farm it. Catches go to the bar of the region you are in, so wandering between regions splits your progress.
What to farm: Tubster, and why the time of day matters

Tubster is the recommended Aniimo for farming Prismana repeatedly, and that includes Prismana Melloblum.
What a bloom nurture spawns is not fixed. The active weather and the time of day decide which species and forms appear in bloom nurture encounters, so the same bloom can give you a different pool depending on when you show up.
Do not confuse those forms with Prismana. Aniimo can have weather-based forms and other variations that are separate from their Prismana variants. A weather form turning up in your nurture is not a Prismana.
Is a Prismana Aniimo worth it?

On numbers alone, not necessarily. Prismana variants do not inherently have superior stats, moves or abilities. A Prismana is not an upgrade by default.
There are exceptions worth knowing. Prismana Blazen has an exclusive Dark-type skill, so for that one the variant brings something the ordinary form does not.
That leaves two good reasons to farm: you want a specific variant with something exclusive like Blazen's skill, or you simply want the Prismana for itself. If you are farming for raw power, the route above will not give you more of it.
Where to start
Farm one region during Vein Abundance, capture rather than defeat everything in a bloom nurture, and save your Vein Essence. Point the effort at Tubster or at a variant with something exclusive, such as Prismana Blazen's Dark-type skill, not at stats a Prismana does not have.
