How do you bond with Irisalis?

The scripted encounter guarantees the catch, replacing the beta gacha rolls entirely.

In the closed beta, acquiring Irisalis required Glimmer through an event system with legendary pity estimated at 4,500 to 6,000 Glimmer. For launch, Kingsglory shifted the process into regular play. You gather Legendary Tokens through open-world exploration, standard catching, and main story progression, which are used to craft the personal pod that makes the encounter available on your map.

Completing the bond unlocks an exclusive transmog ability for your character. You can also access Forging Twine within Irisalis's rift space to unlock the blessing gifts section. As the first legendary Aniimo in the game, Irisalis is tied directly to the Walking with Irisalis legendary journey, which becomes accessible after completing the Butterfly Shadow event.

Not settled: The sequence order remains unsettled in the game data. The exclusive story sequence is described both as the requirement to unlock the legendary pod and as an event triggered by crafting it.
