Guides › How to unlock Prismana weather control in a region
How do you check the weather forecast on the map?
Aniimo has an active weather system, and clicking the sun icon on the fully zoomed-out map displays a forecast of upcoming regional weather changes up to 24 hours in advance, along with a timer.
Planning around this window is essential for catching storm-locked variants.
The world map displays special regional conditions ahead of time so you can reach an area before conditions change. Waiting for specific weather to arrive by chance is inefficient when tracking species that require rainstorms or thunderstorms to spawn.
Catching these windows is required if you want full map progress. Reaching 100 percent completion in an area requires capturing that zone's special weather forms alongside its Prismana variants.
Why Weather Windows Matter
Certain species appear exclusively under specific weather patterns. Coraliz features an exclusive storm variant during rainstorms, while Luminel and Scorchhowl have forms tied directly to thunderstorms. Luminelle also possesses a distinct Rainstorm form.
Weather variants can feature altered elements, elemental enhancements, and skill upgrades. Any moves unlocked through an alternate weather form can be equipped onto standard forms in the same Aniimo family. You can only switch an Aniimo into an alternate form if you have already caught that specific variant in the wild.
