Does weather affect which Aniimo appear?

Active weather conditions and the time of day determine which Aniimo species and forms appear in bloom nurture encounters.

Cloudy, foggy, and rainy conditions directly rotate the styles and forms you encounter.

Weather conditions combine with the day-night cycle to alter creature encounters across the wild and in bloom outbreaks. Tracking down every variant requires visiting zones across different atmospheric states, because certain styles only materialize when specific weather patterns roll through.

These weather-based forms are separate from Prismana variants. Different forms of the same Aniimo share identical base stats, so hunting a specific weather style is an aesthetic and collection goal rather than a hunt for higher combat numbers.

Prismana Flow and Weather Manipulation

Weather also controls access to Prismana variants through an environmental condition called Prismana Flow. Triggering Prismana Flow requires weather manipulation, which transforms exposed Aniimo into special forms and allows rare Prismana variants to spawn across the region.

These Prismana variants do not inherently possess superior stats, moves, or abilities over standard creatures, though isolated exceptions exist, such as Prismana Blazen carrying an exclusive Dark-type skill. Aniimo can also appear with both a Prismana form and shiny or sparkling status at the same time.

Weather During Wild Surges

Bloom event locations appear on the map marked by a flower or dark blue tulip-shaped icon. Interacting with the bloom plant and choosing the option to attract Aniimo initiates the nurture phase. This triggers a Wild Surge and a Group Appearance, drawing a circle of 20 wild Aniimo to gather around the bloom.

Because active environmental weather sets which species and styles populate these encounters, checking the local sky before triggering a surge is critical. The quality of items offered during ecosystem nurturing no longer determines the quality of a wild surge, which means spawn varieties rely on environmental factors like active weather rather than offering rare items.
