Guides › Aniimo weather forms: which species, unlocks and moves
How do you find weather variants on the map?
A small blue map icon marks a region where weather has brought out a weather variant Aniimo.
The blue icon means a variant has already spawned there, not that the weather might produce one. It covers rainstorm and thunderstorm variants. It marks the location where the Aniimo appeared, so go straight to the marker instead of sweeping the whole region. Weather variants spawn only under their own weather, so every marker is tied to the storm currently over that region.
If you see no blue icon, zoom the map all the way out. Each region then shows an icon for its current weather: a sun, rain, or a lightning-and-cloud symbol for a thunderstorm. A region showing rain or thunder is where a marker can appear.
To plan ahead, click the sun icon on the map's side menu while you are still fully zoomed out. It opens a forecast of regional weather changes up to 24 hours ahead, with a timer. Use it to see which region gets rain or a thunderstorm next and when it starts, so you are already there when the variant spawns.
