Guides › How Twining Works

How do you transport eggs in Egg Heist?

Transporting and extracting an egg in Egg Heist requires players to twine with it, transforming into the egg to roll it out.

Twining with the egg strips all combat abilities, leaving you only able to roll or jump.

When you collect the central Giant Darkler Egg in Operation: Egg Heist, your character physically transforms into the egg itself. You must roll it through the dungeon and make it safely to the extraction boat to secure the objective. Because you lose the ability to fight, you depend entirely on your team to clear enemies along the route.

Mobility is strictly limited, though rolling with the egg includes a dash maneuver tied to a cooldown. To survive incoming attacks while transporting the objective, you can run the Tough Egg talent. This Common rarity talent grants +10% damage reduction while twined with an egg, and both Tough Egg I and Tough Egg II provide that identical +10% value.

Dropping and Reclaiming the Egg

If you are cornered or need to fight, pressing C untwines you from egg form on the spot. Doing so drops the egg on the ground temporarily without forfeiting it, letting you use your standard Aniimo combat abilities or allowing a teammate to twine with the egg and continue the extraction.

Not settled: Jumping and dashing are confirmed for egg form, but the full set of movement abilities while rolling an egg remains unsettled.
