Where do eggs spawn in Egg Heist?
In Egg Heist, teams compete to extract rare eggs, which spawn only in specific room types inside the dungeon sanctum, typically its large rooms.
No eggs appear across the exterior island map.
You have to push past the surface ruins and head underground into the dungeon sanctum to find one. Small corridors and transitional paths never hold an egg, so squads can bypass them entirely and move directly toward the primary chambers.
Securing the Egg
Reaching an egg requires a player to twine with it to carry and roll it toward the extraction boat. Picking up the central giant egg transforms the carrier into the egg itself, removing all combat abilities and forcing you to rely on teammates for protection during the run.
Pressing C untwines you to set the egg on the ground temporarily without losing it, letting you fight or reposition if your squad is ambushed. Unlocking the Egg Boat Safe talent also grants a protected safe pocket for stashing eggs during an extraction run. Any eggs successfully evacuated by a teammate are shared with the whole party and delivered to your in-game mailbox.
