How does Stellarys's Shadow Magic clone work?
Stellarys's Shadow Magic creates a shadow clone that mimics its basic attacks and skills at 20% of Stellarys's normal damage.
The clone stays active for 20 seconds and lets Stellarys swap places with it. Activating the skill a second time trades positions with the duplicate left behind on the field. This turns the ability into a quick repositioning escape in addition to an offensive summon.
The duplicate mirrors actions alongside you throughout combat. Stellarys maintains a ranged playstyle with mobility built into its attacks, so placing the clone gives you an extra source of ranged fire without forcing you to remain stationary.
Movement and Skill Synergy
Shadow Magic pairs directly with Stellarys's evasive abilities. Glide skills such as Shooting Star Glide allow Stellarys to ride a star through the air, evading enemy hits and dropping stars on targets before swapping back to the shadow clone.
Casting the ability also activates Grand Sorcerer. This trait grants Stellarys additional damage on basic attacks for 5 seconds after using a skill. Skills like Shooting Stars, which fires three homing stars to build a Damage Boost of up to 15%, are duplicated by the clone from its current spot on the battlefield.
