How long do support tickets take?
Support ticket replies have been known to take a long time, and whether they have since been made faster is unsettled.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
Slow replies were a known problem, and response times have been sped up since then. Replies can still take a long time, though, so don't count on a ticket to fix anything quickly.
Some problems never need a ticket at all. Characters and progression are tied to each regional server and can't be moved to another one, so if you started on the wrong server, waiting for support won't bring your account across. Merging your data across devices is done in the game by binding the same email address, which the linking guide covers.
Not settled: Response times have been made faster, but replies can still take a long time. It isn't settled how much faster they are now, or whether every ticket benefits.
