Is Aniimo available on Xbox?

Both current consoles are covered, so a Series S is not a second-class way in. Whichever box you own, that is the version you get.

Xbox is also not the only door. The game is releasing on PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store, on PlayStation 5, and on iOS and Android. If you own an Xbox but most of your friends are on phones or a PS5, nobody is locked out of the same release.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is in from the start, available at launch on September 16. That matters if you are waiting on hardware, because the cloud route means an Xbox console is not strictly required to play on Xbox.

Xbox on PC counts too

The PC release includes the Microsoft Store, which is the Xbox on PC storefront. So there are three ways to be playing on Xbox: the Series X or S, the cloud, or the Microsoft Store build on a PC. Steam and the Epic Games Store sit alongside it as separate PC options.

The pre-order accessory

Xbox Series X pre-orders include an exclusive Xbox-themed accessory, the Doggo Dude. It is tied to pre-ordering rather than to buying at launch, so it is the one thing here you can miss by waiting.

Not settled: The Doggo Dude accessory is attached to Xbox Series X pre-orders specifically. Whether a Series S pre-order carries the same bonus is not stated.
