What abilities do you get from merging with Aniimo?
Merging with Aniimo grants players access to the creature's powers and combat abilities.
◇verified at launch · Sept 2026
Transforming directly into an Aniimo replaces your human character's kit with the creature's own physical body, movement style, and moveset. In battle, you take manual control instead of commanding from the sidelines. You gain active dodging, creature movement, and cooldown-based attack skills governed by stamina management.
Taking on a creature's form also means giving up your human character's Active Skills while the transformation lasts. Those human abilities, including support buffs and targeted healing that restores an Aniimo's HP, function only when you fight alongside your companion rather than fused inside it.
Exploration and Traversal
Outside of combat, each Aniimo provides distinct map navigation abilities used for traversal and puzzle solving. Depending on the creature you choose, these physical forms allow you to sprint, climb vertical walls, swim, dive underwater, glide, fly, or burrow underground.
You can also twine with an egg to physically take its shape, though you must untwine to engage in battle. Whatever creature form you adopt, cosmetic head pets remain visible on your model.
Combat Transformation Forms
Certain creatures provide specialized combat-oriented powers beyond basic attacks. Each starter Aniimo possesses a unique combat transformation form, such as Helion transforming into the combat form Soleon.
