What are Lumin Ambers used for in Aniimo?

Infusing this energy into the branches advances regional and world progression. Beyond the branch passives, it is spent on Pathfinder upgrades, creature progression, equipment, Homeland development, and world activities, as well as upgrading the Branch in Idol.

Ignoring these nodes restricts what you can do. Essential abilities, game modes, and map areas remain blocked until the branches receive enough investment.

Progression and Unlocks

Investing in regional branches raises your Aniimo capture rates and opens access to new zones. Milestone upgrades provide critical tools, including the nurturing ability and true flight.

Bringing the Branch to its maximum level removes stamina limits outside of combat, which remains active while using flight mode.

Gathering Across Idyll

Lumin Ambers are found across the open world of Idyll through puzzles, mini-games, and exploration. Finishing town trials, open-world trials, or closing Sanctums also awards them. Collecting each one builds regional exploration progress.

An on-screen alert signals when one is nearby. Picking them up while doing regular quests avoids backtracking later. The resource does not run out.
