Guides › Homeland facilities: crafting stations and workshops
What can players do at the base homestead?
Players can farm crops, craft items, build structures, place furniture, and manage resources alongside Aniimo at their base homestead.
Assigned Aniimo continue gathering and crafting on a timer while you are offline.
You access the base through your RV, setting up campsite farm plots and facilities where species use their distinct work abilities to tend crops, draw water, and process raw materials into items like Aniipods. Upgrading production buildings increases overall material yield and capacity.
Work assignments gradually drain Aniimo sanity. You counter this by placing dedicated rest facilities around the grounds, including beds, cushions, and resting pods.
Sanctuary layouts and interaction
The grounds also function as a private sanctuary separate from production. You can arrange custom habitats, place furniture, and display your caught Aniimo across the property.
Placing an Aniimo inside the homeland building causes it to sparkle. Petting a sparkling Aniimo yields stars.
Specialized buildings
Certain structures require specific species or abilities to function. Assigning members of the Shelly family to the Tidewhisper Sandcastle facility produces Pearls, while building a dance pad generates Aniimo EXP consumables such as growth flowers and fruits.
At Homeland rank six, you unlock the Starfall Hammock. This station requires an Aniimo with the leisure work ability, which generates items passively while the creature plays.
