Guides › How Capability Fruits Work in Aniimo
What does a Capa fruit do?
A Capa (Kappa) fruit permanently raises an Aniimo's innate potential by one, and can push a Perfect Aniimo further, such as from 8 to 9.
Each Aniimo can eat only one Capability Fruit in its lifetime, so choose the target well.
The fruit is the same item under two names: Capa or Kappa Fruit, also listed as Capability Fruit. It changes the Aniimo's innate stats rather than anything you level or train, and the change is permanent. Because it works on a Perfect Aniimo too, the best use is usually on a creature you already intend to keep, where it lifts stats that were otherwise as high as innate potential goes.
The gain is not lost when you breed. Stat effects from a Capability Fruit pass automatically to another Aniimo through inheritance and carry over across generations, so one fruit on a good parent keeps paying off down the line. Decide what role the Aniimo will fill before you spend it, since you get no second fruit on the same creature.
Where to get one
The Glimmer Shop sells Capability Fruit for 1,000 Glimmer. You can also get it free through regular play: collect 20 Potential (Kappa) Seeds and exchange them for a fruit in Joff's Item Exchange. Don't confuse it with the green Growth fruit, which Joff's Shop sells for 1,000 and which is a separate item.
How it sits with other potential
Innate potential is separate from Acquired Potential, which you add after capture with items and Capability Awakening. Each standard attribute is capped at a combined total of 20 across the two, so the fruit's point counts toward that ceiling.
Not settled: Which stats get the +1 is not settled. It is described both as raising all six innate potential attributes and as raising only the two recommended stats (the ones marked with thumbs-up icons), up to a maximum of nine.
