What does Somni Wing do as a support?

Every active skill costs EP, so more EP coming back means your main Aniimo spends less time waiting and more time casting. Somni Wing feeds the Aniimo you are actually playing, which is what makes it an energy battery for teams that burn EP fast: Grass teams, Irisalis teams and Egg Heist teams all lean on it.

Its regeneration is not limited to one element, so it slots into almost any team. That is the practical difference from Leafy, whose Vitality Blooms only help Grass teammates standing inside the circle.

What its kit adds on top

Its trait raises the party's maximum EP by 10 for as long as it is in the party, so you get a bigger pool as well as faster refills. Its ultimate restores 50 EP outright, which you can fire mid-rotation when the bar runs dry before your next big skill.

Its Ethereal Light skill value caps at 36%. Because its skill scales with energy regeneration, regen is the only stat you need to invest in. Do not spread resources into anything else on it.

Getting one

You cannot catch Somni Wing in the wild. It is free from Elite Training in the menu, as the reward for reaching 180 Elite Training points. It is a Grass type, also listed with Wind as a second type.
