Best EP regen supports: Besauce, Somniwing and Leafy
Besauce restores 1.5 EP per tick for 12 seconds on any team. Leafy gives about 2.4 EP per second, but only to Grass allies standing in its circle.
The short version
- Besauce's Charged Geyser gives the team an EP regeneration buff for 12 seconds at 1.5 EP per tick, and it costs zero EP when you use it below 20 EP.
- Besauce's restoration is not tied to an element, so it is the battery that fits any team.
- Somniwing is the energy battery for EP-hungry Grass, Irisalis and Egg Heist teams. Build it for maximum regen and put its capability points into regen.
- Leafy's Vitality Blooms circle regenerates about 2.4 EP per second, but only for Grass teammates standing inside it.
- If none of the three fits your team, Eternal Lightwave raises EP recovery by 31% for all teammates, and Luminel's Lightning Surge restores 25.7% of allies' energy.
Some teams run out of EP before the fight is over. If your damage depends on skills you can't afford to cast, you need an energy battery: a support whose job is to keep everyone else's EP topped up.
Three Aniimo do that job well, and each comes with a different catch. Besauce works on any team. Somniwing is built around regen and suits the hungriest Grass and Irisalis lineups. Leafy is the strongest of the three, but only for Grass allies standing in its circle. This guide covers how much EP each one restores and which team each belongs on. For a wider look at every regen option in Aniimo, read the site's main regen guide, "Best Regen Aniimo: EP batteries for your team".
Besauce: the battery for any team

Besauce's restoration is not tied to an element, so it fits any team you build. That flexibility is a big reason it's one of the top support Aniimo, alongside Turbo, which is also a common pick across many teams.
Its key skill is Charged Geyser. It gives the whole team an EP regeneration buff that lasts 12 seconds and restores 1.5 EP per tick. Charged Geyser costs zero EP, at least when you use it below 20 EP. So it works best at the moment your team is running dry: you can cast it while low and still get the refill.
Somniwing: built for regen

Somniwing is an EP regeneration support that acts as an energy battery for EP-hungry teams. Grass, Irisalis and Egg Heist teams are the ones that need it. Its skill kit restores team EP and also increases maximum AP.
Build it for one thing. Give Somniwing maximum regen and put its capability points into regen. Spreading points elsewhere undercuts the reason it's on the team.
Somniwing can also control fights. Hypnotic Spores puts Aniimo to sleep and can hit several targets at once, which gives your damage dealers room to spend the EP Somniwing restores.

Leafy: strong regen for Grass teams

Leafy is a Grass boss Aniimo that you can use as a support focused on regeneration and healing. Its EP tool is Vitality Blooms, a circle that regenerates both energy and ultimate energy at about 2.4 EP per second.
That comes with two limits. The regen reaches only Grass teammates, and only while they stand inside the circle. On a full Grass team that's an easy trade. On a mixed team, part of your lineup gets nothing from it. How Leafy fits a Grass core is covered in the site's "Grass Team Guide: Irisalis, Melobloom and Leafy".
Besauce
- Restoration is not tied to an element, so it fits any team
- Charged Geyser gives the team a 12 second EP regeneration buff
- Restores 1.5 EP per tick
- Charged Geyser costs zero EP when used below 20 EP
Leafy
- Vitality Blooms only helps Grass teammates inside the circle
- Restores about 2.4 EP per second
- Also regenerates ultimate energy
- Grass boss Aniimo that also brings healing
Other ways to refill EP
If none of the three suits your team, there are other EP options. Eternal Lightwave provides EP support and increases EP recovery by 31% for all teammates. Luminel's kit recharges the team, and its Lightning Surge restores 25.7% of allies' energy. Livi is mainly useful for EP regeneration because it has an EP restoration skill.
Where to start
Pick by team. On a mixed team, use Besauce, because its regen ignores element and Charged Geyser is free when you cast it low. On an all-Grass team, Leafy's circle is the strongest refill, as long as your allies stay inside it. For EP-hungry Grass, Irisalis or Egg Heist teams that want regen plus crowd control, take Somniwing and put every capability point into regen.
