Where can players meet other players?

Players can encounter each other, along with their trailers, in shared public hub areas such as open-world settlements and RV campsites.

The continent of Idyll is not populated by other players outside designated hubs.

Exploring the open wild remains a solo experience unless you invite guests directly into your session, which supports co-op parties of up to four players. Unpartied strangers do not wander into your game world while you travel between objectives.

The primary meeting place is Astra, a floating city in the sky where players congregate and see other Pathfinders. Across the surface of Idyll, shared encounters are limited to fixed communal sites, including outposts, campfires, settlements, and RV parks.

Interacting in hubs

When you approach another player in a shared area, pressing the F key opens the multiplayer interaction menu. On touch devices, tapping another player's avatar brings up their interaction panel directly.

Voice communication does not broadcast automatically, as auto voice is disabled by default in the chat settings. Players can also leave visible messages in the game world for others to find.

Server and platform requirements

Meeting other players requires choosing the same server region before starting. The game splits its population across three regional choices: Aniimo-America, Aniimo-Europe, and Aniimo-APAC.

Crossplay is active across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices. Players on different hardware still share the same hubs, provided their characters were created within the same regional server.
