Where does Scorchhowl spawn?
Scorchhowl and its Prismana form can be found and caught in the Beastfang Ridge region.
A wild thunderstorm brings out an alternate Scorchhowl variant with upgraded skills.
Weather-dependent Aniimo variants can also feature altered elements or elemental enhancements, though regional and environmental forms are not inherently stronger or rarer than standard spawns.
Achieving 100% completion in an area requires capturing that zone's Prismana and special weather forms. You can only change an Aniimo into an alternate or weather form if that specific variant has already been caught.
Equipping variant moves
Moves unlocked from weather variants or alternate forms can be equipped onto standard forms within the same Aniimo family. Certain alternate forms also alter an Aniimo's elemental typing, giving you different battle options once you secure the wild capture.
