Beast Fang Ridge, Zephyrus and Driftwise Meadow spawns
Fenrier only shows by day, Flameruff waits on the Inferno quest, and Magmarex sits under a geyser. Here is where every spawn in these three areas is.
The short version
- Fenrier spawns in Beast Fang Ridge around Frigid Waters and the Bloom during the day, and also in Driftwise Meadow.
- Flameruff will not appear in Beast Fang Ridge until you have completed part of the Inferno quest.
- Magmarex lives in an underground volcano cave in Zephyrus Landbridge, which you reach by jumping down a geyser.
- Budclaw spawns in large numbers next to the sand in Zephyrus Landbridge, which makes it the easy catch in that area.
- Captured wild Aniimo respawn at their spawn points over time, so by the end of a Beast Fang Ridge loop the first spawns are back.
These three areas share a handful of creatures, and each one also has at least one Aniimo that is easy to walk straight past. Some spawns only appear in daylight. One waits behind a quest. Two are tucked into caves you would never find by following the road.
This page goes area by area: what spawns in Beast Fang Ridge, what spawns in Zephyrus Landbridge, what spawns in Driftwise Meadow, and where exactly to stand. After that comes the overlap between areas and how respawns let you farm a route.
Beast Fang Ridge spawns
Beast Fang Ridge has the most going on of the three, and two of its spawns come with conditions.
Fenrier spawns around Frigid Waters and the Bloom, but only during the day. If you come through at night and find nothing, that is why. Basic Bonesky shares the Frigid Waters area and also turns up past the cave on the northern path, so one sweep of Frigid Waters can cover both.
Scorchhowl is found in Beast Fang Ridge, and so is its Prismana form. Both can be found and caught in the region, so this is the place to hunt if you want the Prismana version.
Flameruff also spawns here, but only after you have completed part of the Inferno quest. Until then you can search the ridge as long as you like and it will not appear. Do the quest first.
Minespine is the one people miss. It lives in a hidden cave in the mountains west of the Beast Fang Ridge teleport, and the entrance sits at the edge of a cliff, so you have to go looking for it. The Alpha Minespine is also reached through Beast Fang Ridge, starting from a nearby teleport point; the route to it and the fight have their own page in our Alpha boss guide.
Thunderstorm weather is rare here, as it is elsewhere, so do not plan a session around waiting for one.

Zephyrus Landbridge spawns
Budclaw is the reliable catch in Zephyrus Landbridge. It lives in specific habitat areas and spawns in large numbers next to the sand, so head for the sandy edges and you will find a cluster rather than a single one.
Chirpi has a spawn here that it shares with Tromber and Cornet, so one spot gives you three species. Chirpi is common elsewhere too: Blitzwood, the pillars in the Ember Pup area, near beaches, and by the Bloom near the Tubster spawn.
Magmarex is hidden. It spawns inside an underground volcano cave, and the way in is to jump down a geyser. There is no obvious door, so if you are looking for a cave entrance you will walk past it.
Pebbling also spawns in Zephyrus Landbridge. Outside this area it appears in the Crystal Cave in Nimbus Fields and at the bottom of the volcano descent.
Driftwise Meadow spawns

Glacy spawns in Driftwise Meadow near the giant hole. The giant hole is the landmark to find; work outward from there.
Prismana Glacy also spawns in Driftwise Meadow, so this is the area to farm if you want the Prismana form rather than the basic one.
Two Beast Fang Ridge creatures turn up here as well. Fenrier spawns in Driftwise Meadow, and so does Basic Bonesky.

Creatures shared between areas, and respawns

Fenrier and Basic Bonesky both spawn in Beast Fang Ridge and in Driftwise Meadow. If you are after either one, you have two places to look, and you do not need to make a special trip to one area if you are already in the other. Remember that Fenrier's Beast Fang Ridge spawn is a daytime one.
Spawns are not used up when you catch them. Captured wild Aniimo respawn at their spawn points after time passes, and the Beast Fang Ridge loop is long enough that by the time you finish it, the spawns where you started are back. That makes a loop of the ridge a sensible way to farm: catch on the way round, and the first spawns are ready again when you return.
Where to start
Go to Beast Fang Ridge in daylight, and finish part of the Inferno quest if you want Flameruff. Run the ridge as a loop so the spawns refill behind you. In Zephyrus Landbridge, jump down the geyser for Magmarex. For Glacy and Prismana Glacy, head to the giant hole in Driftwise Meadow.
