Aniimo 1.1 release date and maintenance schedule
Servers were down from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM UTC on September 23, mobile arrived straight after, and the 1.1 Discovery event runs 25 September to 9 October.
The short version
- Version 1.1 released on September 23, after server maintenance that ran from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM UTC that day.
- The Android and iOS release followed the same maintenance, so mobile players started on version 1.1 from day one.
- The version 1.1 Aniimo Discovery event runs from 25 September to 9 October.
- The PC and console launch on September 16, 2026 has an unsettled hour: 10:00 a.m. UTC+8, 10:00 a.m. UTC and 10:00 p.m. UTC are all given.
- The developers publish periodic roundups on the most-discussed community issues, and the 1 October roundup sets out the player-driven changes planned for version 1.1.
Version 1.1 is the first big date on Aniimo's calendar after launch, and it did two jobs at once. It patched the game that PC and console players already had, and it opened the doors on mobile.
This page covers when the update went live, how long the servers were down for it, how it sits against the original launch, when the Discovery event runs, and where the developers explain what they are changing and why.
Version 1.1 went live on September 23
Version 1.1 released on September 23rd. Before it could, the servers went down for maintenance, scheduled from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM UTC that day. If you tried to log in during that window, that is why nothing worked.
The same maintenance cleared the way for the global mobile release on Android and iOS, which followed on September 23, 2026 once the servers came back. The 1.1 update launched alongside it. In practice that means nobody on mobile ever played the launch version: your first session on a phone was already on 1.1.

How 1.1 fits around the global launch
Aniimo launched globally on September 16, 2026, or September 15 depending on your time zone. It went out simultaneously on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, on PlayStation 5 and on Xbox Series X|S.
Two details of that launch are still not settled. The PlayStation 5 date is given as both September 15 and September 16. The launch hour is given three ways: 10:00 a.m. UTC+8, 10:00 a.m. UTC and 10:00 p.m. UTC. None of that changes what you can play now, but it explains why launch day looked different depending on where you were.
The order is the useful part. PC and console came first, then mobile and version 1.1 arrived together on September 23. If you play on more than one device, every platform is on the same version from that date.

The Discovery event and the feedback roundups
The version 1.1 Aniimo Discovery event runs from 25 September to 9 October. It starts shortly after the patch, not on the same day, so the maintenance and the mobile release were out of the way before it opened. Plan around 9 October as the end date.
The patch itself is tied to what players have been saying. The developers plan to publish periodic roundups that address the most-discussed community issues and set out their plans for them. A community feedback roundup published on 1 October describes the changes planned for version 1.1, and those changes are based on player feedback.
If you want to know why something in 1.1 works the way it does, or whether a problem you have hit is on the list, the roundups are the place to look. Expect more of them, since they are meant to be a regular thing rather than a one off.
Where to start
If you missed the September 23 maintenance, there is nothing to catch up on: every platform is on 1.1 now. Put 9 October in your calendar as the end of the Discovery event, and read the feedback roundups when they come out if you want to know what is changing next and why.
