Aniimo mobile release: iOS and Android download guide
Aniimo needs 6 GB of RAM on a phone and pulls about 8 GB more on first launch. Where to get it, and how to bring your PC or console save across.
The short version
- Aniimo has been playable on iOS and Android since 23 September, after the version 1.1 server maintenance; the PC and console versions launched on 16 September.
- Download it from the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad, or from the Google Play Store on Android.
- Your device needs at least 6 GB of RAM or the game will not run at all, and Android devices also need Android 10 or later.
- Budget about 8 GB of free space for the extra resources the game downloads on first launch, on top of the app itself.
- Progress carries over only if you log into the same Aniimo Pass account on the same server; data on a different server stays separate.
Aniimo is on phones and tablets now. The iOS and Android versions went live on 23 September, and they are the same game as on PC and console, with your progress shared between them if you set up your account correctly.
This guide covers the practical part: where to download, whether your device can run it, how much space to clear, and how to pick up on mobile where you left off elsewhere. The last one is where people trip, because the server you play on matters as much as the account you log in with.
When Aniimo launched on iOS and Android
Aniimo launched globally on 16 September 2026 (15 September in some time zones) on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Mobile was not part of that first wave.
The global mobile release on Android and iOS followed on 23 September 2026. It came straight after the version 1.1 server maintenance, which was scheduled for that day from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM UTC, and the version 1.1 update launched alongside it. That means mobile players started on 1.1 from day one. What the patch changed has its own article on this site, so it is enough here to know that the phone version and the other platforms run the same version.
The Android release was not cancelled. Both iOS and Android went out on the same day.
Where to download Aniimo on mobile
On iPhone and iPad, Aniimo is on the Apple App Store. On Android, the official download is through the Google Play Store.
The app from the store is not the whole game. On first launch, Aniimo downloads additional resources, about 8 GB on mobile. Do that first launch on Wi‑Fi with the phone plugged in, and clear the space before you start rather than finding out halfway through.
If you prefer physical buttons, Aniimo supports controller input across its supported platforms, mobile included.

Will your phone run it
There is one hard line: Aniimo Mobile requires at least 6 GB of RAM and will not run on devices with less. This is not a case of lower settings and a rough frame rate. Below that amount of memory, it does not run.
On Android there is a second requirement. The device must be on Android 10 or later.
For iPhone, the recommended device is not settled. It is given both as the iPhone 14 Pro with an A16 chip or newer, and as the iPhone 14 Plus or newer. If your phone meets both descriptions you are covered either way; if it only meets one, treat it as borderline. The full breakdown for every platform lives in this site's PC and mobile system requirements article.

Syncing your existing account to mobile
If you already play on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, you do not have to start over. An existing account from another platform can be synced to the mobile version, and Aniimo supports cross-play and full cross-save progression across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and mobile devices.
The condition is specific. Progress is shared when you log into the same Aniimo Pass account on the same server. Accounts are linked through the same email address, and on PlayStation you also link a PSN account. Data on different servers stays independent, so if you pick a different server on your phone than the one you play on at home, you get a fresh start there instead of your save.
Aniimo supports logging in with email, Google, Facebook, Discord and Line accounts. Because linking runs through the email address, the safe move is to log in on mobile with exactly the same method and address you use on your main platform, then check you are on the same server before you play. Getting this wrong will not delete anything, but it does split your progress across two separate saves.
Where to start
Check that your device has at least 6 GB of RAM (and runs Android 10 or later on Android), clear about 8 GB for the first launch download, and get the game from the App Store or Google Play. If you already play elsewhere, log in with the same Aniimo Pass email and choose the same server before you do anything else.
