Aniimo Preregistration Guide and Milestone Rewards

Aniimo cleared its 30 million milestone, so every tier paid out: two AniPod Ultras, a limited frame, limited outfits and a free Prismana Aniimo. Here is how claiming works.

The short version

  1. Aniimo passed 30 million global pre-registrations before release, so the 15, 20 and 30 million milestone rewards were all unlocked.
  2. The 15 million milestone gives two AniPod Ultras, 20 million gives the Companion Promise limited avatar frame, and 30 million gives limited outfits.
  3. The Prismana Pact grants one free Prismana Aniimo of your choice and is tied to the pre-registration Wayfarer certification reward.
  4. Pre-order items bought on PlayStation and Xbox arrive in the in-game mailbox of a single Aniimo Pass, but only if both the PSN and Microsoft accounts are linked to that Pass and are on the same server.
  5. Console pre-order accessories differ by platform: a baby Celestis on PlayStation and a baby Skybones on Xbox.

Pre-registration for Aniimo is finished, and it finished well. The count passed 30 million global pre-registrations before release, which means every milestone tier on the ladder was unlocked for everyone who signed up.

That leaves two practical questions for a new player. What did those milestones actually give out, and how do you make sure the rewards land on the account you play on? The second one matters most if you bought a pre-order on console, because the rules there depend on how your accounts are linked.

The milestone rewards, tier by tier

The milestones stack, and each one added something different.

At 15 million pre-registrations the reward is two AniPod Ultras. These are capture tools rather than cosmetics, so this is the tier with the most direct effect on your early game.

At 20 million the Companion Promise limited avatar frame unlocks. It is purely cosmetic, but it is limited, so it marks your profile as one that was there for pre-registration.

At 30 million the reward is limited outfits. Pre-registration also counted a limited outfit among its launch rewards as a milestone unlock, so this is the tier that dresses your character.

Because the count passed 30 million before release, none of these were left locked. If you pre-registered, all three tiers are yours.

The Prismana Pact and the Wayfarer reward

The most valuable pre-registration reward is not on the milestone ladder at all. The Prismana Pact grants one free Prismana Aniimo, and you pick which one.

It is tied to the pre-registration Wayfarer certification reward, so it belongs to the same pre-registration package as the milestones rather than to a pre-order or a paid edition. Since you choose the creature yourself, it is worth knowing which Prismana Aniimo you actually want before you commit.

How signing up and claiming worked

Pre-registration asked for an email address, and a verification code was sent to it to validate the sign-up. That code step is what confirmed your entry, so the email you used is the one your pre-registration is attached to.

The rewards themselves are launch rewards. They were earned during pre-registration and handed out when the game went live. If you are missing something, the first thing to check is that you are signed in with the same details you used to pre-register.

Pre-order editions and claiming across consoles

Pre-order bundles and extended editions are a separate track from pre-registration. They provide starting items and bonuses of their own. The Collector's Edition tier includes a cosmetic profile frame, and the console Advanced Edition includes exclusive in-game accessories plus the Advanced Companion Handbook standard battle pass tier. Prices and the full contents of each bundle belong to the cash shop guide; what matters here is how you claim them.

The accessories differ by console. PlayStation pre-orders grant a baby Celestis, and Xbox pre-orders grant a baby Skybones.

If you bought on both, you do not need to pick one. Pre-order bundles from PlayStation and Xbox can both be claimed through the in-game mailbox on a single Aniimo Pass. The condition is strict: the PSN account and the Microsoft account used for the purchases must both be linked to that Aniimo Pass, and both must be on the same server. Meet it, and the accessories and in-game items from either console can be used across platforms. Miss either half, a missing link or a different server, and the items stay apart.

The pre-launch web event

Alongside the sign-up there was a pre-launch web event. Participants selected an Aniimo to twine with, which gave the event a companion to follow through it.

The Aniimo Together event added exploration squads, and those needed six players. That made it a group activity rather than something you could clear alone, and it is part of why pre-launch players organised into teams before the game was out.

Players per exploration squad

Aniimo Together exploration squads need six players, so gather a full group before you join.

Where to start

If you pre-registered, all three milestone tiers and your Prismana Pact pick are waiting, so make sure you are signed in with the details you used to sign up. If you pre-ordered on more than one console, link both the PSN and Microsoft accounts to one Aniimo Pass on the same server before you check the mailbox.
