How Dual Elements and Form Typings Work in Aniimo
A Prismana form can give an Aniimo a different element, sometimes two. Prismana Glynsera is Ice and Light. Here's how to tell a standard form from a shifted one.
The short version
- Prismana forms can change an Aniimo's elemental typing, so a Prismana version may not share its standard form's element.

Elements in Aniimo are tied to the form a creature takes, not only to the species. A standard Aniimo has its usual element. A Prismana form of that Aniimo can have a different one.
That matters any time you plan around typing. If you only ever look at the standard form, you can misjudge what a Prismana form is. Sometimes the change is a straight swap. Now and then it gives the creature two elements.

Prismana forms can change an Aniimo's element
Prismana forms are the variants that can alter an Aniimo's elemental typing. A Prismana form does not just look different. It can sit on a different element from the standard version of the same creature.
Sometimes that shift gives the Aniimo a dual typing, but only occasionally. Don't expect every Prismana form to come out with two elements, and don't assume a Prismana form shares its standard form's element either. Check each one.
Prismana Glynsera: an Ice and Light dual element Aniimo
Prismana Glynsera is the clearest example of a dual element Aniimo. It is an Ice and Light type.
That makes it a good one to remember when you think about elements in general. A creature with two elements is not just a variant of a single-element creature in different colours. You have to keep both elements in mind when you use it or face it.
Standard forms with a single element
For comparison, standard forms have the one element you'd expect. Standard Scorchav is a Fire element Aniimo. Standard Grizbo, which also goes by Grizzbolt, is a Stone or Earth element Aniimo.
Note the word standard. Those typings describe the regular forms. Since Prismana forms can change an Aniimo's element, a Prismana version of either creature should not be assumed to share it.
Where to start
Read an Aniimo's element off the form you actually have, not the species name. Standard forms keep their usual element. Prismana forms may move to another one, and now and then to two, as Prismana Glynsera does with Ice and Light.
